A Dribble

A son embraced his father with fears over the ignorant men with guns. A compassionate father, he soothed his child and said

“Never fear to think inhumane thoughts about those who would willfully treat others inhumanely. The power to cause death can not be tolerated in the hands of the ignorant.”

A Drabble

Suzie came home from school one day, excited to see her grandparents were visiting. They asked what interesting things she had learned, to which she replied

“We learned a new rhyme. It goes like this.”

“Biden, Biden, he’s the man. He has things Trump can never have…like decency, humility, the compassion of an evolved man. And the humanity good leaders require, oh…and an abundance of elan. Biden, Biden, yes sir, he’s the man. He makes life better whenever he can.”

The grandparents smiled, overjoyed to have helped raise kids who were raising kids with a mature perspective and a fun sense of creativity.
