As far as I'm concerned, organized religion has never been a bastion for hope, but merely a reinforcement of political power structures.

Let us never forget that that there were 'good white christians' fighting against the 'good black christians' who were fighting for a shred of social dignity during the Civil Rights movement. If christianity were a universal source of moral tuition, the struggle for social equity and political equality would have been unnecessary.

There is no God and no one can demonstrate otherwise.
