I completely agree, but I feel it's a human rights issue, first and foremost. Limiting the discussion on this paradigm to simple labor politics doesn't do justice to the gravity of the situation, the dire need for systemic change.

That said, a lot of people in power who are anti-union call themselves christians, people who follow blindly a book which has their precious 'savior' saying 'whatsoever you do to these, the least of my brethren, you so unto me'. Seems kind of rotten on their part to proverbially piss all over the lower orders when their religion tells them to take care of the less fortunate.
