I quite agree. There's a kind of integrity/purity/spirit (call it what you will) in the realm of the indie/D.I.Y. arena that doesn't really exist in the rest of the consumer market. I'd rather own something meaningful that came from the imagination of someone who loves what they do, rather than something that was chucked off of an assembly line for the sake of a quick buck by people who don't care what they put out so long as it sells.

Kind of makes me pine for a return of the early days of Seattle Grunge...
