I think it's probably best to start by defining what strain of feminism you are speaking on. There are many to choose from after all.

At it's base, feminism is a stance that says we should support equal pay and equal opportunity for women. If a man supports those two propositions, he can be as 'manly' as he wants and still be called a feminist.

Misogyny is always a problem however, and if there's one change that can improve society for the better, it's the elimination of misogyny. And you don't have to be a man to be an enabler of that toxic mindset. Too often, chivalry is looked on as a virtuous ideal. However, once you look past its romantic illusions, one finds that chivalry, in the classic sense, was little more than patriarchal misogyny dressed up to appear more respectable
