It's amazing how people treated this as a 'good guy/bad guy' spectacle. There was not a 'good' party here. He's an alcoholic and unstable drug addict, probably with a minor god complex at this point. She's a narcissist and a gold digging fame whore. It wasn't about who was good and who was bad, it was about who was slightly less worse than the other. Sadly, we treat celebrities like idols of worship, as ancient religious cults used to do, and everyone had to have their preferred god. The high holy priests of the algorithm machine had to have their payday, so they exploited our collective naivety...
I never cared about Amber and I'm certainly no longer a fan of Johnny. It was really annoying having to see this trial appear in the news on a day to day basis. Unless it's NPR, PBS or the BBC, I'm pretty much done expecting anything other than sensationalism and pandering from modern news media. It's about clicks and how many they can get to maintain a healthy bottom line through ad revenue. I'm done laying that game.
