It's interesting to read about the tendency towards subdued lighting. I don't care for bright lights myself, so I feel a bit of an affinity with Danes in that respect.

I also like sharing little things with my close acquaintances, like these little Hopjoe candies I get at my favorite chocolate shop. They only cost a nickel and are an enjoyable way to share the love, so to speak.
