It's pretty messy here as well. Everyone is paying so much attention to our national races that few people are aware that far right extremists are trying to take over as many mechanisms of local elections procedure as possible in order to try and subvert any legitimate wins for the reasonable people on the left.

The propaganda is such a joke as well. I get so many mailers full of lies from candidates I would never vote for under any circumstance. I'm guessing the UK got a fair amount of that as well given how divided your vote response was with regard to Brexit. There was no majority consensus on that issues no matter how much the 'leave' camp called it a win.
