Life Imitating Life?

Is Blake Lively a selfish cunt or does she just play one in reality…?

It’s been in the news lately that two well-known actresses treated a Norwegian interviewer like shit a few years back. Not surprising really, considering Ms. Lively made her name playing a rich-bitch fame whore on Gossip Girl and Parker Posey can’t help but bitchify any role for which she comes in contact. And the oblivious, tone deaf way in which Ryan’s ball-and-chain is performing on the press junket for her latest movie about domestic abuse is just rancid icing on the shitty cake. This just goes to the heart of the Nepo-baby discussion; specifically how children of affluent, successful families get to live well and stay insulated from the horrors of real life and thus fail to heed the lessons which come from adversity, and which lead to humility and empathy. We need to stop putting these toxic, modern god-proxies on pedestals and start forcing them to behave like the real people they claim to be.

Grow up Blake. Naive, immature gossip girls (and I strongly emphasize GIRLS) are something rotten to be surpassed.
