Our society will never be great so long as a basic tenet of Capitalism remains 'get the highest return for the least investment.'

Rather than aspiring to an economy rooted in quality and genuine consumer satisfaction, our ways inspire lazy thinking, because the easier path is for the marketers and other sales slime to con people into believing quality is on offer instead of actually aspiring to a product or service that's of genuine quality.

If we don't learn to order our society in a way that doesn't promote exploitation as a basic virtue, we're done for, if we aren't beyond hope already.
