People on the Left need to start caring less about fairness and adopt an agenda of attacking and undermining the delusions Righties use to prop themselves up as virtuous people. Take religion, for example; the Right is infested with Evangelicals who hold up their faith as a badge of supreme virtuousness. However, history demonstrates that being religious is not an inherent well-spring of ethical or moral fortitude. The slave trade in the U.S. was reinforced by christian slave owners. And for every black church that was fighting for a just society during the Civil Rights era, there was at least one white church advocating against equality. Undermining Right Wing virtue delusions is key to cracking the foundations of their power and we need to get serious about doing so, the sooner the better.
