Simplistic people always resort to simplistic logic to justify their bigotry. It's funny how they demonize Atheists for not believing in jehovah when they are Atheists themselves with respect to EVERY OTHER god ever conjured in human history. They certainly wouldn't accept a Hindu saying they just wanted to sin by not accepting Shiva as real. Twisted logic...if not overt hypocrisy.

The last conversation I had with my grandfather before he died had to do with morality and virtue. I don't remember most of it but I recall making the statement that one doesn't have to be a christian to make moral decisions. He was so self-involved that he couldn't see past his own dogma and tried to convince me that his position was greater because god commands people to be moral. He just couldn't see that making the choice to be moral because you understand why it's best to do so is superior to being moral because your god tells you to do so.
