This is why I advocate for a platonic dating model. We need to encourage more active thinkers so that people start investing in each other as people, and not as resources or a means to an end. We aren't doing a great job with promoting ethical behavior as it is, so I just think taking certain assumptions out of the equation at the start is a good way to achieve it.
