This kind of shit is one of the reasons I loathe influencer culture so much. It blurs too greatly the line between genuine expert and opportunistic charlatan, making it even harder for average people to discern good information from nonintellectual horseshit. We need more wisdom in society, and it's not gping to happen if we continue to allow unethical toads the power to get in the way of reasoned discourse.
