And a good first step is to devise robust and ubiquitous technologies which mitigate the effect of algorithmic information exchange, so that people aren't so susceptible to being spoon-fed whatever satisfies the ad revenue bottom line. A good second step is to depricate influencers with no useful contributions and elevate science influencers and other well-informed educational figures within the social media sphere.
