Yes, I close comments deliberately; partly because I have issues related to getting overwhelmed bu too much data, but also because extensive comment threads give trolls fodder with which to attack, and I fucking loathe trolls. Besides, if people find value in what I write, they can always highlight specific passages to indicate interest. Plus, I would prefer people carry on the ideas I present in their own written works, expand on my efforts with new ideas and information, especially where matters of mental health are concerned.

There are other ways to leave supportive comments though. You can do a review write-up of your own where you feature an article you've read and explain what value you have found in the reading. Private notes are another way of communicating support as well.

Liz Phair is one for the ages. So many acts from the early to mid 90s did such socially relevant things with their talent. It's a loss to the human race that they were too soon overshadowed by the glut of bubble gum pop which started to emerge in the late 90s.

That said, I appreciate you taking the time to review my work. I will endeavor to keep doing what it is I do in the hope that I can transmit something useful for others to build upon.
