What’s the easiest way to tell that Evangelicals aren’t the deep thinkers they claim to be? Pay attention to the manner in which they use the word ‘theory’, specifically with regard to the factual and well established scientific principle of reality called EVOLUTION. They try to disregard facts in favor of their fundie delusions by conflating ‘theory’ with ‘hypothesis’ and thus claim the right to say that Evolutionary Science isn’t a proven avenue of knowledge. In proper parlance, an hypothesis is a guess at what might be happening, whereas a theory is an established model of operational principles observable in any given relevant scenario. It wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for the fact that these idiots are the heart and soul of a political religious movement who are hellbent on destroying public education so that they can more easily force christian doctrine on the unwilling. Don’t let these cretins fool you. They AREN’T intellectual, they ARE a threat to your freedoms and they DO need to be stopped before they fuck this democracy over big time.
